  • starPreparations are now being made for a most extraordinary event – the 25th Annual “All that Glitters” Auction and “Taste of Carthage” – Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Carthage Civic Center – 6:00p.m.

    The event is fun, exciting, entertaining, and meets a very critical need.  Funds raised provide the financial support necessary for the Chamber to carry out its program of work, which includes the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and Tex Ritter Museum.  Activities funded by the auction help improve the economic vitality of the community and maintain the quality of life for all our citizens.

    The Chamber of Commerce is a 501 (c) (6) organization and your contribution may be tax deductible as a business expense.  The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame is a 501 (c) (3) organization.  A donation to the Hall of Fame may be tax deductible as a donation.  Receipts can be provided upon request.

    Please take time out of your busy schedule and use this form  to pledge a donation.  Use your imagination!!  If you need help, call the Chamber at 903-693-6634.  You may also reserve a table of 10 for $200.00.  Individual tickets are $20.00 each.

    With donations totaling $100 or more, you will receive 2 free tickets to this event!

  • roundup info 18 smKGAS Radio is hosting the "Tex Ritter Round-Up" with book signing featuring guest authors, live music by the Southern Impact Band, free museum tours, special guests, autographs. KGAS is sponsoring the County Music Showdown, a music competition with a top prize of $500. Rules and entry forms may be picked up at KGAS Radio, online at www.easttexastoday.com, or on the day of the event at the TCMHOF.

  • kenny rogers2Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Awards Show

    The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame announced Kenny Rogers as the 2017 inductee, according to Tommie Ritter Smith, President of the TCMHOF. Also inducted was Bobbie Lee Nelson, sister and band member of Willie Nelson. The Pioneer Award receipient was Mo Jelaudarzadeh, owner of Mo's Place in Katy, Texas. Inducted into the Disc Jockey Hall of Fame was Tracy Pitcox, who has been employed by KNEL radio since 1986 and also owns Heart of Texas Records.  Emcee for the 20th anniversary Hall of Fame Awards Show was 2015 TCMHOF inductee Tracy Byrd. Guest performers were Linda Davis, TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang, Dallas Wayne and Johnny Counterfit. For more info, visit the TCMHOF website.

  • showcase logoAuditions for the John Ritter Tribute Showcase were held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Thirty (30) contestants were chosen to compete at the finals on Friday, August 11, 2017, at the Carthage Civic Center in Carthage, Texas. The winner was Tiff Taylor from Melissa, Texas. She will represent the TCMHOF at various concerts and special events and also received a prize package which includes $1000. For details, click here
