  • kenny rogers2Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Awards Show

    The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame announced Kenny Rogers as the 2017 inductee, according to Tommie Ritter Smith, President of the TCMHOF. Also inducted was Bobbie Lee Nelson, sister and band member of Willie Nelson. The Pioneer Award receipient was Mo Jelaudarzadeh, owner of Mo's Place in Katy, Texas. Inducted into the Disc Jockey Hall of Fame was Tracy Pitcox, who has been employed by KNEL radio since 1986 and also owns Heart of Texas Records.  Emcee for the 20th anniversary Hall of Fame Awards Show was 2015 TCMHOF inductee Tracy Byrd. Guest performers were Linda Davis, TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang, Dallas Wayne and Johnny Counterfit. For more info, visit the TCMHOF website.

  • showcase logoAuditions for the John Ritter Tribute Showcase were held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Thirty (30) contestants were chosen to compete at the finals on Friday, August 11, 2017, at the Carthage Civic Center in Carthage, Texas. The winner was Tiff Taylor from Melissa, Texas. She will represent the TCMHOF at various concerts and special events and also received a prize package which includes $1000. For details, click here
